Marjorie Ellen Holt, age 79, of Klinger Lake, passed away Saturday morning, Dec. 3, 2011, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 6, 1932, in Wolcottville, Ind., a daughter to the late Ferman and Angilia (Butler) Fiandt.
On Jan. 31, 1953, in Hudson, Ind., she married John S. “Jack” Holt. He passed away May 9, 2005.
Marjorie had been employed at Continental Can and Formed Tubes before working in the office of Superior Motor Parts in Sturgis, a business her husband John owned and operated from 1965-1991.
Marjorie enjoyed living at Klinger Lake, pontoon rides, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters: Angela (Greg) Lee of Springfield, Mo., Jodie (Jerry) Lintz, and Debra (James) Lintz both of Union, Mich.; nine grandchildren, Eric (Jody) Landis, Adam Landis, Karrie Lee, Brandon Lee, Jessica (Patrick) Hines, Justin (Jennifer) Lintz, Ryan Speicher, Alex Lintz, and Alison Lintz; four great-grandchildren, Sophia Speicher, Brooklyn Hines, Austin Hines, and Brynlee Landis; two sisters, Betty (Ralph) Nelson of LaGrange, Ind., and Kathryn Stoll of Ft. Wayne, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; a brother, Ferman Fiandt Jr.; and a sister, Ruth Olinger.
According to her wishes there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date. The family suggest memorial donation in her memory be directed to Three Rivers Hospice or the St. Joseph County Commission on Aging, envelopes are available at the Hackman Family Funeral Homes, who are entrusted with the arrangements.
