John Whitmyer, 74

John W. Whitmyer, Sr. age 74, of Constantine, MI passed away at home Monday, October 20, 2014.
He was born February 22, 1940 in Cassopolis, MI, the son of Melvin and Emma (Vickers) Whitmyer.
He was in the RV Service business until retirement. John enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He also loved spending time with family.
Surviving are one daughter, Brenda (David) Snyder of Goshen, IN; three sons, John W. Whitmyer Jr. of Elkhart, IN and Timothy J. Whitmyer and Andy S. Whitmyer both of Edwardsburg, MI; four siblings, Emma, Dorothy, Clarence and Willis; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and seven sisters.
The family will receive friends from Noon to 1 P.M. Thursday, October 23, 2014 in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus, MI. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, October 23, 2014 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Crane Cemetery.
