Lee Hawkins, 94

Lee A. Hawkins, age 94, of Three Rivers, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 19, 2014 at the Heartland Healthcare Center in Three Rivers. Mr. Hawkins was born November 28, 1919 in Fort Smith, Arkansas the son of Vernie and Gussie (Jackson) Hawkins..
Mr. Hawkins honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II where he earned a victory medal, European-African-Middle Eastern and Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon and Five Overseas service bars.
He was preceded in death by his wife Fedelia Hawkins.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, brothers and sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. on October 31, 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Copper Jr. of Bethal Baptist Church officiating.
Military Honors will be held immediately following the service at Hohner Funeral Home, under the auspices of the American Legion Hice-Shutes Post #170 of which Mr. Hawkins was a member. Arrangements by Hohner Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.hohnerfh.com.
