The Western Michigan Broncos improved their record to 2-1 on the season with a 45-14 victory over visiting Murray State on Saturday. WMU amassed 607 yards of offense and held the races to just 305. The Broncos rushed for 379 yards. Freshman running back Jarvion Franklin carried the ball 30 times for 168 yards and three touchdowns. Zach Terrell completed 20 of 29 passes for 228 yards, one touchdown and an interception. Corey Davis caught seven passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.
