Constantine appoints village treasurer

Constantine Village Council members this week appointed Jan Rimer as village treasurer.

Former treasurer Helena Baldwin chose not to run in the November election. When no one ran for the position, two candidates applied for the appointment: Rimer and Kathlyn Williams.

Rimer is a retired ISD educator and Williams is a retired registered nurse. Village president Gary Mathers and several council members said Rimer and Williams were both good candidates.
