The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency is moving toward a daily notification model to local media.
Health officer Rebecca Burns said the measure is necessary, as the number of positive cases begins to increase within the three-county service district.
As of 2 p.m. Thursday, St. Joseph County had no confirmed cases, 10 people pending test results and 38 individuals known to have been tested.
There are two confirmed cases in Branch County, six pending tests and 15 people known to have been tested.
In Hillsdale County, there are five confirmed cases, 20 pending test results and 39 people who are known to have been tested.
Total cases statewide as of 2 p.m. Thursday are 2,856 people, with 60 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
