Police investigate suspicious vehicle in Flowerfield Township

Michigan State Police troopers are seeking the public’s help for information regarding a suspicious vehicle last weekend in Flowerfield Township.

According to a department media release, two teenagers were playing Sunday in the 15000 block of Flowerfield Road. Witnesses said a white utility van pulled up next to one of the teens and opened the passenger door. The other teen yelled, which apparently caused the driver of the van to flee the scene.

The van has no side windows, and was carrying silver and gray ladders on a roof-mounted rack. It also featured tinted front-driver and passenger-side windows.

Two white males were in the vehicle; the front passenger wore a black baseball cap and had a short-trimmed beard.
