Max Richard Sussdorf Jr., age 61, of Three Rivers, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020. He was born in Three Rivers on July 15, 1959, the son of Max R. Sussdorf Sr. and Harriet Ann (Fitts) Sussdorf. Max graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1977.
He was employed by PepsiCo for 32 years as a semi driver.
Max was an avid Tigers fan. He enjoyed camping at Sandy Pines for the last 18 years with family, playing softball, bowling, and watching NASCAR. He cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren.
In 1980, he married Cindy Sue Weaver, who preceded him in death in 2018.
Max was also preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Mikel (Cathy) Sussdorf; and his father-in-law, Robert Weaver.
Remaining to cherish his memory are a son, Dustin (Wiwanya) Sussdorf; daughters, Rachel (Scott) Johnson, Alyssa, Desiree and Janelle Sussdorf; grandchildren, Tyler and Kaliyah Sussdorf; brothers, Mark (Theresa) and Mitch Sussdorf; sister, Maxine (Mac) Kennedy; mother-in-law, Carol Weaver.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 2, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers, MI 49093. A private family service will be held later.
Memorials in Max’s memory may be donated to the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Envelopes available at the funeral home in care of his arrangements.
