Two people, including a woman from Three Rivers, were arrested on drug-related offenses following a traffic stop over the weekend in St. Joseph County.
Sheriff Mark Lillywhite said the vehicle was stopped early Sunday in the 10000 block of Dutch Settlement Road. A search of the vehicle yielded more than 46 grams of suspected methamphetamine, as well as packaging materials, a digital scale and a loaded firearm.
The 33-year-old Three Rivers woman has been charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. Meanwhile, a 42-year-old man from Dowagiac was taken into custody for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, carrying a concealed weapon, felony firearm, felon in possession of a firearm and several misdemeanor offenses, according to deputies.
