Arrests made following search warrant

An anonymous tip led to the execution of a search warrant and subsequent arrest of three people last week in Marcellus.

Members of the Cass County Drug Enforcement team served a search warrant Friday at a residence in the 5000 block of North Maple Street. Authorities said the warrant was executed on suspicion that the use and sale of methamphetamine was occurring at the location in question.

Team members found methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia, leading to the arrests of two women, ages 33 and 31, and a 51-year-old man. They were all charged with possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.

Their names are being withheld pending arraignment.
