Judy Tucker, 74

We sadly lost an amazing lady Tuesday, August 24, 2021, when Ms. Judith R. Tucker, dearly known as Mother Tucker to most, passed away at her daughter’s home with family present.  She was born October 29, 1946 in Three Rivers. She graduated in 1964 from Three Rivers High School, where she made lifelong friends who became more like family.  Her best friend for life was Marcia Marie Miller-Bingaman who she met when they were both 4 years old. Judy learned her work ethics as a young lady working in her grandparents store, Maystead Market, on Broadway Street. Throughout her life she mastered many skills, but she was best at cooking, bringing people together, helping, guiding and loving others.  She worked as the support staff manager at The Domestic Assault Shelter for many years.

Judy is survived by her dad, Bruce Middleton.  Her brother Brad Middleton, and his two daughters, Lauren and Paige.  She is also survived by her children: Jason Tucker (Lisa Troyer), Bruce (Jolene) Tucker, Mischa Butler (Ron Summers), and Paul Tucker JR.   Her step-children: Steve Tucker, Cathy Tucker and Holly Roach.  Many loved her as their mom, and she loved them.  Special mentions: Heather Campbell, Krissy Nichols, Missy Dutoi, Tricia Jones, Charity Datema, Mindy, Carla, Debbie and Cathy Fuson, Sara and Dutch Chenoweth and so many more.

Her beloved grandchildren:  Steven (Stephanie) Tucker, Justin Tucker, Brittany Summers, Derek Tucker (Jenna Davis), Stephen (Ashlee) Butler, Brandon Summers (Shelly), Seth Butler (Samantha Carothers), Trevor (Samantha) Tucker, Taylor Tucker, Mischa Summers (Alex Motter), Brooke Tucker, Tyler Nichols, Trent Tucker and Stephanie Tucker.

Great-grandchildren:  Channing, Jaxson and Kristopher; Alex and Brayden; Brice, Zoey and Macy; and another great-grandson due Oct. 7, 2021 and another great-grandbaby due Dec. 26, 2021.

Judy is also survived by her Aunt Rosalie Maystead Mohney and many cousins, nieces and nephews who she dearly loved, and were here with her still this past year.

She was preceded in death by:  Her beloved grandparents, Clifford and Beatrice Maystead; her beloved mom, Ellen Middleton in 2016, her biological father in 1997, Dean Anderson; fiance Ted Rhude in 2017; her grandson Samuel Butler in 2009 that she helped raise and care for; her beloved cousin Becky; her beloved Aunts Frankie Briney and Elaine Timm and many more aunts, uncles and cousins that were very dear to her. She was also preceded in death by her dearest friends/family:  Dutch and June Chenoweth, Daniel P. Fuson, Charlie and Jane, Connie Adcock and Morris Hayden and more.

She will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with and cared for as an amazing mom, grandma, aunt, cousin and great friend.  She was a very caring, giving and helpful lady who mothered a community.

There will be a public memorial service in a few weeks. Cremation has taken place.  Her resting place will be down the street from her home on Quaker Street at Youngs Prairie Cemetery.
