Andrea “Dee Dee” Riley, age 65, of Three Rivers, passed away early Thursday morning, August 4, 2022 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born May 24, 1957 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Omelchuck) Lengyel
Dee Dee resided in Three Rivers since 2010, coming from Sturgis, and her early life was spent in Pennsylvania.
She retired from Clayton Homes in Middlebury following seven years of dedicated employment.
Andrea had a true appreciation for the outdoors and nature. She enjoyed gardening, kayaking, canoeing, and baking. She loved animals and time spent with her entire family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons: Gary (Chelsea) Riley of Sturgis and Brandon Riley of Three Rivers; three grandchildren: Ember, Alexis and Savannah; three sisters: Beth (Joe) Stanis, Pat Henry and Joanne Nabozny all of Pennsylvania; brother: Joe (Alice) Lengyel of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St. in Sturgis where a memorial service celebrating the life of Andrea “Dee Dee” Riley will immediately follow the visitation at 6:00 P.M. The Rev. Joshua Brueck of the Sturgis Missionary Church will officiate.
