Dr. Paul Blank, 63

Dr. Paul Michael Blank, DDS, was born on April 6, 1961 in Grand Rapids, the son of George and Mary Lou Blank. He passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2024 at the age of 63, as a result of an earlier cardiac event. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Paul graduated from Creston High School, Grand Rapids Junior College, and Hope College. He pursued and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1988 from the University of Detroit Mercy. On September 8th, 1990 Paul married the love of his life, Sara Winkler. Dr. Blank opened a practice in Three Rivers in the spring of 1993.

Paul is survived by his wife and daughters, Grace Boersma and her husband Nick Boersma, and Caroline Blank. Paul is also survived by his siblings and their spouses, twin sister Tisha Wells and Brian Wells and their daughter Amanda Wells, brother Richard Blank and Bob Hildebrand, and brother Kelly Blank and J Schwanke – all of Grand Rapids.

Paul loved and was devoted to his family and his church. Paul was an avid and excellent golfer, loved going to movies and amusement parks, and was a fan of the Detroit Lions and Tigers. Paul very much enjoyed taking his family to Disney World over the years. He is loved immeasurably and will live in our hearts forever.

Friends and family will meet for visitation at the Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller N.E. at Three Mile Rd. from 4 to 7 PM, Thursday, June 27th where a Rosary will be prayed at 7PM. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass Of Christian Burial will be offered 11:00 AM, Friday June 28th at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1120 4 Mile Rd. N.E. where family will receive friends for the hour prior to service.
