Mary Lou Dreher, age 94, of Constantine, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at her home. She was born on August 7, 1930 in Madison, WI, a daughter of Sam and Elna (Christiansen) McGaw. Mary graduated from West High School in Madison in 1948. On August 27, 1948 she married Robert Lee Dreher in Dubuque, IA. He preceded her in death on August 19, 1983. Mary worked as a nurses aid in Jackson, MI but mostly was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family. Mary and Robert came to Constantine in 1974, previously living in Harrison and Southgate, MI. She enjoyed playing euchre and an occasional glass of chardonnay.
Surviving are her daughter Susan (David) Pisaneschi, Colorado; sons James (Barb) Dreher, Portage, Jeffery (Diane) Dreher, Portage, Bradley Dreher, Kalamazoo; grandchildren Andrew Pisaneschi, Marisa Pisaneschi, Tony (Tiffany) Pisaneschi, Danica Dreher, Leann (Mathieu) Bray, Hilary Dreher, Alyssa Dreher and Brendan Dreher; great grandchildren Bryce, Donny, Desmond, Caden, Evelyn, Gage, Julien and Elijah; and great great grandson Colsen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister Eileen Carlson; brothers Don McGaw, Stan McGaw and Ken McGaw.
Relatives and friends will be received Tuesday, August 27th, from 5 to 6 PM, followed by funeral services at 6pm at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine.
In Oregon, Wisconsin, relatives and friends will be received Thursday August 29th, from 4 to 7 pm at Gunderson Funeral Home, 1150 Park St., Oregon, WI 53575. Religous services will be held at 11 am Friday, Aug. 30th, at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Prairie Mound Cemetery.
