Mary Ann Vische, 85

Mary Ann E. Vische, age 85, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, in Three Rivers, surrounded by family.  She was born on July 14, 1939 in Chicago, a daughter to Andrew and Alyne (Underwood) Tinich.

Mary Ann lived in Chicago for 32 years during her childhood and her young adult life. She also lived in Country Club Hills, IL for 20 years, before finally settling in Walkerton, IN to retire. Mary Ann most recently moved to Three Rivers to be closer to family.
She married Emil D. Vische, Jr., on September 18, 1965 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Chicago.

Mary Ann worked for many years as a school bus driver and a receptionist at medical offices, before she retired.  She was a member of St. Dominic’s Church, The Ladies Guild at St. Dominic’s Church, The Wild Violets of Koontz Lake Red Hats Society, Koontz Lake Association, she was a board member for the Council of Aging in Knox, IN, and worked bingo games for 20 years.

Mary Ann is survived by children: Kim (Todd) Hironimus of Three Rivers, Emil A. Vische of Farina, IL; Grandchildren: Jeff (Eleni) Hironimus of Las Vegas, and Jr. Vische; Siblings: Patricia Bluhm, Andrew Tinich and Mona(Casey) Rose; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Emil D. Vische Jr. and her parents.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a Funeral Mass at St. Dominic’s Church in Walkerton, IN on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM, CST. The Reverend Father Anthony Spanley will officiate. Directly following the service, inurnment will occur at Grovertown Cemetery in Grovertown, IN.
