Terrance Lee Matson, age 78, of Burr Oak, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Fairview Nursing Home in Centreville. He was born October 13, 1946 in Union City, a son of Lawrence and Elvera Ilene (Carpenter) Matson. He attended Union City Schools and later served proudly in the US Marines, (Vietnam veteran). Terrance owned and operated Matson Metal Fabricators in Constantine, and later worked at Eddy Paper in White Pigeon for several years before retiring. Terrance was a member of the Colon American Legion Post # 454, and the Eagles Lodge in Sturgis. He enjoyed playing pool and karaoke.
Surviving are his daughter Elizabeth (Pete) Hagenbuch, Nottawa; son David Matson, White Pigeon; long time partner Jeanie Bernheisel, Burr Oak; grandchildren Taylor Wentworth, Paige Wentworth, Celeste Wentworth; 4 great grandchildren; brother William Matson, FL; half-brother Ronald Fager, MI, and Aunt, Eloise Lehman. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Matson; mother Ilene Fager, and brother Larry Matson.
