Nicole Danielle Bontrager, age 41, of Nottawa, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at her home. She was born May 25, 1984 in Sturgis, a daughter of Elizabeth M. Bontrager. In 1990, Elizabeth passed away and Nicole was adopted by Alvin and Ardell (Bristol) Bontrager.
Nicole graduated from Centreville High School in 2002. She worked as custodial supervisor on the second shift at Glen Oaks Community College and previously at Meijer in Sturgis.
Surviving are her daughter Reagan Bontrager, Nottawa, parents Ardell and Alvin Bontrager, Sturgis, her life partner Robert Williams II, Nottawa, brother Brandon (Christine) Bontrager, and their daughter Alexis of Portage, sister Bridgett (Timothy) Frost and their daughters Hayden, Elyse and Collette, of Grand Rapids, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth (Bontrager) Fuller.
Per her request, cremation has taken place.
Relatives and friends will be received Sunday Sept. 28th, 2025 from 1 – 3 pm at Centreville United Methodist Church. A private burial of ashes will take place at the Nottawa Township Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for Reagan’s future or Goshen Cancer Center.
