Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport announced it will host another temporary TSA PreCheck Application Center. Residents of Southwest Michigan will be able to enroll in the PreCheck program at the airport Sept. 26-30. Two people were injured after a school bus was struck by a vehicle Wednesday in Cass County’s Wayne Township. Lion statues stolen in Mendon Township

Michigan State Police troopers are investigating a larceny of two lion statues from a location in Mendon Township. Investigators said the incident occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesday from outside a residence in the 22000 block of Springer Road. County unemployment increased

July’s unemployment rate in St. Joseph County increased by six-tenths of a percent from June. The monthly labor-market analysis by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget was released recently.
