The 167th St. Joseph County Grange Fair could very well go in the annals as the hottest ever, with the seven-day average high at 87 degrees. Traffic stop leads to drug arrests

Two Indiana residents were arrested on drug-related charges last week following a traffic stop in Constantine Township. State police said troopers stopped a vehicle at 2:35 p.m. Saturday on North River Road after it was seen speeding near Winding River Road. Man arrested after fleeing deputies

An Elkhart man was arrested Wednesday after he attempted to flee from Cass County Sheriff’s Department officials. Adopt-A-Highway underway

The Michigan Department of Transportation wishes to advise motorists that the third and final Adopt-A-Highway cleanup event is underway and slated to conclude Saturday. The latest cleanup period started this past weekend. Volunteers in Michigan have been participating in the program since 1990.
