A vehicle was stolen between midnight and 7 a.m. Friday from a residence in the 56000 block of Buffalo Drive in Lockport Township. The vehicle – its year, make and model were not included in a department news release – was found abandoned at an undisclosed location in Three Rivers.

Authorities in northern Indiana say a passenger in an Amish buggy was killed when it turned into a passing semitrailer on a rural highway.  The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department says the person killed in Monday’s crash was thrown from the buggy along with the driver and two other passengers. Woman injured in lake mishap

Authorities say a 23-year-old Kalamazoo woman lost part of her leg in a boating accident on a southwestern Michigan lake.  Mlive.com and radio station WKZO identify her as Kirshaiah Brodie-Stevenson. Police in Kalamazoo say they’ve learned who was in a vehicle with a decorative vehicle plate quoting a song by Hank Williams Jr. involved in a hit-and-run accident that critically injured a pedestrian.   Capt.
