The Mendon School Foundation said 35 of the 38 requests submitted for the 2013 program were filled. Millage request approved in Mendon

By a two-to-one margin, Mendon Community Schools voters approved a 1-mill increase request Tuesday. Unofficial results from the county clerk’s office show a tally of 314 in favor of the $9.3 million request versus 160 voters opposed. Twenty- four faculty and staff members were recently honored by Glen Oaks Community College.
