Triple A Michigan says it has helped at least 2,200 motorists slammed by snow and low temperatures. Spokeswoman Nancy Cain says it’s not a record, but crews have been “extremely busy” Monday. The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency has issued a press release, noting that the Centers for Disease Control has declared a health advisory. Thirty-five people took advantage of a free ride home New Year’s Eve and early New Year’s Day in St. Joseph County.
