The City of Sturgis is installing its new, portable ice-skating rink at the corner of North Monroe Street and East Chicago Road, next to Headlines Hair Design and Spa. Two men killed in crash

Two people were killed Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle crash in White Pigeon Township. The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department says a van, driven by 30-year-old Kirk Miller of Keystone, Indiana, was westbound on Fawn River Road, left the road, and rolled over several times shortly after 6:30am. The Centreville Downtown Development Authority recently completed a transaction that includes the purchase of the former Village Market. Unemployment rate drops

November’s unemployment rate in St. Joseph County remained less than 7 percent, as it dropped one-tenth of a percent compared to October.
