Western Michigan University has temporarily suspended a fraternity following a shooting at a house party near campus that left one person wounded. Police responded early Sunday to the shooting in Kalamazoo at the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity house. Contractors performing roof repairs over the summer at Glen Oaks Community College uncovered numerous problems, college officials learned last week. The Three Rivers City Commission last week recommended paving-related expenses for two micro-surfacing projects. Glen Oaks Community College officials have announced a reverse-transfer agreement with Ferris State University.
