Power cords stolen from RVs

Michigan State Police troopers responded to a larceny-from-a-motor-vehicle incident in Mottville Township. Investigators said the incident occurred during a 12-hour period Feb. 18 in the 6000 block of U.S. 131. Troopers said 28 power cords were stolen from 27 different recreational vehicles. Each RV sustained damage to a side compartment door lock that housed the electrical power cords.

A Cassopolis man was pulled from a Marcellus Township lake after he fell through ice over the weekend. A Michigan woman who was 114 years old has died. Ellen Goodwill was considered to be Michigan’s oldest resident, the Battle Creek Enquirer reported, citing the Gerontology Research Group, which keeps track of supercentenarians who reach 110.
