Three Rivers Fire Department personnel responded recently to a kitchen fire at the Applebee’s on West Broadway Street. According to agency officials, firefighters were dispatched shortly after 6 p.m. Sept. 28. Fire-fighting efforts were concentrated in the kitchen area. YMCA Camp Eberhart is appealing to the public to help it secure a $100,000 matching grant.
