State police investigators are looking into the theft of a cargo trailer from a location in Mottville Township. Missing man found safe

A man reported missing earlier this week has been found and is safe, according to Sturgis police. The agency said Andrew Scott Nichols, 35, had been missing since Tuesday, possibly in the Klinger Lake Road area. Welder stolen in Flowerfield Township

State troopers were called this week to a report of a stolen welder in Flowerfield Township. The Miller Big 40 welder was stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from a location near the intersection of M-216 and Pulver Road. The welder is blue and attached to a two-wheel axel with a trailer hitch.
