A construction company trailer was stolen last week from a location in Park Township. State police were notified that the utility trailer was stolen sometime after 6:30 p.m. last Wednesday from a construction site in the 18000 block of Moorepark Road. County unemployment goes up

July’s unemployment rate in St. Joseph County was 1.3 percent higher than the previous month. The monthly labor-market analysis by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget showed the county’s 5.1 percent July unemployment rate marked an increase from June’s 3.8 percent. Three Rivers to begin hydrant flushing

The Three Rivers Department of Public Services will begin its twice-a-year hydrant flushing at 11 p.m. Sept. 4. DPS director Amy Roth said flushing will continue through Sept. 29.
