Charges to be dropped in controversial sexual abuse case

A Battle Creek-area prosecutor is dropping charges after the Michigan Supreme Court said a woman convicted of sexual abuse is entitled to a new trial. Southern Michigan Bank and Trust officials said it has not detected a data breach following an incident during which a laptop containing client information was stolen.
