Electric bike stolen in Calhoun County

Michigan State Police troopers are investigating the larceny of an electric bicycle from a location in Calhoun County’s Tekonsha Township. Investigators responded to the 1400 block of 13 Mile Road, where it was reported the bicycle was taken between 1 a.m. and noon Saturday. The bicycle, a Nakto Ranger, is black and features 26-inch, all-weather tires.

Officials with the St. Joseph County Grange Fair said a week of relatively good weather should help the seven-day event reach its average of 150,000 people. Fire victim identified

A Constantine Township man died as a result of a house fire last week. The victim was identified as 66-year-old Delbert McCallie. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. McCann awarded $14.5 million in damages

A jury has awarded $14.5 million to a wrongfully convicted man, saying a Michigan State Police sergeant violated his constitutional rights as he pursued a perjury case against him.
