Police search for suspect in hit-and-run

Michigan State Police troopers are investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred earlier this week in Sherman Township. According to a department media release, troopers responded to the 6000 block of Stubey Road. Police investigate attepted burglary

Michigan State Police troopers responded last weekend to an attempted burglary in the 6000 block of M-66 in Sturgis. Investigators were called to Dunham’s Sports, where the attempted burglary occurred between 8 and 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Troopers were unable to obtain a description of the suspect. More information was not available in a department media release.

Mendon woman dies when vehicle goes into river

A Mendon woman died Thursday after the vehicle she was driving left the roadway and plunged into the Fawn River. COVID-19 vaccination eligibility is expanding

The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph health agency has announced it is expanding eligibility for COVID-19 vaccination to include residents 60 to 64 years of age.
