Nancy Lee Garvie, age 87, of Burr Oak, died on Friday, June 1, 2018, at Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in Centreville. She was born in Pennsylvania on December 12, 1930. Centreville approves before and after school program

Centreville Public Schools Board of Education has approved starting a K-6 before-and after-school program for the 2018-19 academic year. Superintendent Stephanie Lemmer said the budget for the program would be about $70,000, with total anticipated revenue of more than $130,000, based on the number of parents who have said they would be interested.
