County commission changes time of meetings
St. Joseph County Commissioners have agreed to revert to an earlier start time for their twice-a-month meetings. During Tuesday’s meeting, the decision was made to move the 6 p.m. start time to 5 o’clock. A 19-year-old Indiana man was involved in a motorcycle crash Friday last week in Fawn River Township. The victim, Brent Hershberger of LaGrange, was involved in the accident that took place on Kime Road near Stoney Road. Investigators said Hershberger misjudged a curve and crashed the cycle. He was thrown from the bike and later taken to Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
