Sarah Vollmer, a trustee on the St. Joseph County Intermediate School District board, will be stepping down from the board effective June 8. She said the decision came after her husband’s job has transferred them out of St. Joseph County. Vollmer was appointed to the board in October. A 14-year-old boy was injured after the lawnmower he was driving tipped over Monday morning in Nottawa Township.
