Two Indiana women died following a two-vehicle crash last week in Branch County, just east of Leonidas Township. Motorcycle and tools stolen in Leonidas

A motorcycle and various tools were stolen from a Leonidas Township residence within the past three weeks. State police said the 1984 Harley Davidson motorcycle and other items were taken between Sept. 16 and the 23rd. The location of the theft was not included in a department media release.

Constantine man arrested on drug charges

The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department said a 52-year-old Constantine man will be charged with drug-related offenses after sheriff’s officials discovered a full-scale marijuana-growing operation. Deputies were called late Sunday night to the 62000 block of Shaffer Road to speak to a subject about a felonious-assault incident. Deputies found a large growth of marijuana plants inside and outside the residence. …
