Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the theft of a vehicle early Wednesday in Nottawa Township. Shooting suspect captured in Alaska

Police in Fairbanks, Alaska, have captured the suspect in a shooting incident involving a Sturgis native last weekend. According to the Fairbanks News-Miner newspaper’s website, a 29-year-old Anchorage man was charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, vehicle theft, second-degree theft and tampering with evidence.
